Craig Satalic and Al Bass, both officials for Iron Workers Union (IWU) Local 1, review their entrance into and history in the trade, the importance of the union, the apprenticeship program, labor relations in Chicago, women and iron working, safety and ironworking over time, insurance, and the role of unions in American society today.
