First lady to be decorated by Cuban government. Washington, D.C., Nov. 2. The decoration of the Grand Cross of the Cuban Red Cross which will be presented to Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt at the White House Thursday, was brought to the Capital today be Lieut. Col. Evelio Figarola [?], infante [?] (right), General Secretary of the Cuban Red Cross Society and Major Luis Fernandez Ardois, personal aide to Col. Figarola. The decoration is offered to Mrs. Roosevelt in recognition of her humanitarian work and as a token of appreciation from the Cuban Red Cross Society. Cuban Ambassador Fraga will make the presentation while Col. Figarola decorates Mrs. Roosevelt. 11/2/37
