Blake-Waters Assay Office, 222 J Street, Sacramento, Sacramento County, CA

Significance: Built in 1852, this one-story brick structure was occupied by three firms of assayers and refiners between 1852 and 1866. These firms were Black and Company, Waters and Company, and J. Howell and Company.
