Summary
Significance: This is one of the earliest (1864) 2 story stone buildings built in Virginia City. The 2nd floor was leased to serve as the Territorial Administrative Offices for the newly formed Territory of Montana when Virginia City was named the capitol by the Legislative Act of 1865.
