Cross Keys Tavern, State Routes 272 & 42 vicinity (East Nottingham Township), Chrome, Chester County, PA

Significance: This stone inn, probably erected between 1715 and 1720, was completed to its present size by 1745. Important features include a very rare main door, fine hardware and paneling throughout the house, and a swinging partition between two second floor rooms.
