Summary
Significance: Built for Dr. G.W. Greer, a prominent early physician in Jacksonville, the original portion of this house is one of the earliest wood frame buildings in the town. / ca. 1859. Clapboard over wood frame. Since HABS recording in 1934, an addition has been made in the west gable over the first-floor porch.
