Summary
Significance: Built in 1938 at a cost of $13,154, Goodpasture Bridge replaced a ferry at this site. The bridge was rehabilitated in 1987 at a cost of $750,000 and continues to carry vehicular traffic. At 165 feet long, it is the second-longest covered bridge in Oregon. Its impressive size, beautiful setting and distinctive architectural detailing make it one of the most-photographed covered bridges in the state.
