Summary
Significance: Completed in 1767, it was the second manor house to be built at Lloyd's Neck. The Georgian style residence, clad in oversized wooden shingles, was built for Joseph Lloyd, a member of the prominent Lloyd family which later built other houses in the area. The house has evolved through 2 major alterations, although basic elements have remained intact, the first alterations were made ca. 1875 when gabled dormers were added to both sides of the roof and a porch was added to the front of the house...
