La Revue Comique par Jehan Testevuide, no. 5-8

Four satirical vignettes about life in France. In the first, a robber stands on the moonlit roof of a house holding a clock he has stolen. He hopes to land without being caught by the police. A husband and wife talk in the second vignette. She stands in front of a dress form, prepared to make dresses like those of another women whose style she admires. In the third vignette, a corpulent man has entered a tobacconist's shop which also sells military medals. A women, dressed as Marianne, the symbol of France, sells him important military medals. In the fourth vignette, a man and woman sit together in a cafe. The caption identifies him as a literary critic who attacks a well-known man every day. Such criticism has launched his career.
