Summary
Significance: The Slicer-Shiplap House, built on the waterfront about 1723, played an important role in the city's commercial life. The descriptive name "Shiplap" refers to the construction style of the wooden siding on the house. Architecturally similar to the Davis House (HABS MD-258).
