Summons in Sackett v. Miller & Miller, [Law papers].

Summary: Sackett bought forty-eight acres of land in Menard County, Illinois, from William Miller for $400. William Miller gave Sackett a bond for deed, but Sackett refused the bond unless William Miller gave Sackett additional security. Moses Miller signed the bond as additional security. William Miller failed to convey the deed, but Moses Miller gave Sackett additional security with a mortgage on a separate fifty-four acre tract of land. Sackett retained Logan and Lincoln and sued William Miller and Moses Miller to foreclose the mortgage. The court later struck the case from the docket.
