Summary
Significance: Example of small Nantucket lean-to house with traditional ell addition. The Bunker House is a typical small, 2-bay, shingled, lean-to type house of the early-middle 18th century. The exact date of construction is not known, but it is thought that it was probably built c.1720-40 and moved to its present location c. 1770.
