Wayne Holton House, Salem Ridge Road & KY State Route 1159, Brooksville, Bracken County, KY
Summary
Significance: The H. West Farm Complex is a contributing part of the Woolcott Historic District which was declared eligible for the National Register by the Kentucky State Historic Preservation Officer in 1986. The West farm contains one main residence and eleven outbuildings which have a date range between the last quarter of the 19th to the middle of the 20th century. The house and three of the complex ancillary structures are over 50 years old. The remaining sheds and barns were constructed post 1945. However, the complex as a whole displays its historic integrity and is a significant part of the community fabric, and therefore, also the Woolcott Historic District.
