Princeton professor criticises Supreme Court. Washington, D.C., March 17. Professor Edward S. Corwin, of Princeton University, told the Senate Judiciary Committee this morning that the Supreme Court majority had "frequently forgotten it's supreme obligation in ruling on new deal legislation." In saying this he also said that he does not doubt that a "vast part of the new deal legislation could have been sustained as constitutional had the Supreme Court been controlled by its doctrines of the past"
