This is a working, 97-acre longtime tobacco farm turned to goat raising that produces farmstead cheeses, breads, produce and specialty items.
Current owners Dave Krabbe and Kathryn "Kat" Spann are just the third owners in the long history of the property, first cleared in 1870. Included in the Prodigal Farm herd (in 2017) are 85 "milkers," 165 kids born this year, and three breeding rams.
