Inc., and former Chairman of the National City Bank of New York, testified before the Federal Monopoly Committee today that he was influential in having George Whitney appointed to the Board of Trustees of the consolidated Edison Co., but denied that this helped him obtain a $33,750,000 piece of consolidated financing.
