F.B.I. guard reports in. Washington, D.C., Aug 4. Officer Ray D. Buckingham using a plug-in telephone, which every guard carries as part of his regular equipment, reports to headquarters as he patrol his section of the 7 miles of corridors in the Department of Justice Building. The home of the G-Men is probably the most carefully guarded government building in the Capitol. The aces of the Guard Force are chosen to protect that part of the building which houses the records of Federal Bureau of Investigation, 8/4/37

F.B.I. headquarters well guarded. Washington, D.C., Aug 4. The most carefully guarded center of interest in the Capitol is the Department of Justice, home of the "G" Men. Well trained guards protect records, personnel, and the building against all intruders. In this picture, Officer William L. Good is shown at the "Patrol Board" in the Captain of the Guard's office which maintains direct communication with every watch station and substation throughout the huge building. Every guard patrolling the miles of corridors carries as a part of his regular equipment a plug-in telephone with which he can communicate with headquarters at a minute's notice, 8/4/37
