The hearings of the Senate Judiciary Committee on the court reorginization drew to a close today with J. Gould Schurman, former American Envoy to Germany, as one of the last witnesses to oppose the plan. The proposal would rob the court of its world wide fame and divinity, Schurman told the Committee.
