"Death to Quezon!" is heard in Manila ... the battle cry of the Radical party in a mass meeting of 1,000 persons in the Manila Opera House here. Manuel Quezon ... president of the Philippine Senate and head of the independence mission which was in the U.S. this year, is also leader of the mission which will sail for the U.S. on December 5th. He has been widely attacked because of a compromise plan he has suggested, calling for a period of autonomy and free trade prior to the granting of full independence.
