Sherfy to pass on the genuineness of the burnt and mutilated currency which is sent to the U.S. Treasury for Redemption. Miss Sherfy says she finds the most difficult currency to identify is that which has been buried underground, expose to water, dampness, etc. Charred money is too easy to identify but currency burned to a gray ash can never be distinguished.
