Surprise visit from Georgia. Gov. Eugene Talmadge, of Georgia, consistent New Deal critic as he paid a surprise visit to Pres. Roosevelt at the White House Wednesday. Gov. Talmadge, in a cream colored suit, and red suspenders, indicated surprise when confonted by newsmen and photographers. "How did you know I was coming here" he asked.
