Washington, D.C., April 7 -Last night was smelt night at the Capitol and hundreds of the Finny Tribe were served to members of Congress at a special dinner sponsored by Rep. Fred Bradley of Michigan who had the fish shipped down here from his home state. Here we see Michigan Senators Prentiss Brown, left, and Arthur M. Vandenberg demonstrate the correct way of enjoying this Michigan delicacy. The girl in the picture is Miss Barbara Banks, Queen of Smelt, who helped feed the solons, while in the rear is Rep.
