Conversion. Merry-go-round plant. Hooks for export packing cases of aircraft engines are bent on this horizontal bulldozer which was formerly used to bend rails for merry-go-rounds to delight the hearts of carefree children. It was thought impossible to convert the machine for this use, but a little thinking and ingenuity solved the problem. The slack was taken out of the bulldozer and it was found to work quite satisfactory as an aid to bending the heavy hooks into shape. Spillman Engineering Company, North Tonawanda, New York
