Although a long, long way from home, a common interest makes for a complete understanding between these five men who helped to supply the Roumanian civil population with American clothing and food. They were members of the American Red Cross unit operating out of Bucarest. Ordinarily this group would be found at Syracuse, N.Y., Phil. Pekin, Davenport, Ia., and Goshen, N.Y., respectively, for reading from left to right they are: Maj. R.B. Rulison, Maj. Richard Penn Smith, Sing Ki Wow, Maj. Dan J. McCarthy and Maj. Burke C. Hamilton.
