Bullfrog Mine, Rhyolite, Nye County, NV

Significance: Associated with the strikes that set off one of the last major gold mining booms in the Southwest. These strikes had a major impact upon the regional settlement patterns and economic activities of southern Nevada and southeast California in the early 20th century.
