Grace Memorial Bridge, U.S. Highway 17 spanning Cooper River & Town Creek , Charleston, Charleston County, SC

Significance: At 1.9 miles long, the bridge is one of the major river crossings in the American South and the largest steel truss bridge in South Carolina. At the time of its construction, it was the fifth longest cantilever span in the world.
