Summary: Martin, guardian of Margaret and Nancy Howard, filed a petition for dower and partition of the estate of Joseph Howard. The court granted both the dower and the partition and appointed three commissioners to execute the decree. Howard's widow, Barbary Allen, received 120 acres, and the children, Nancy, Margaret, and Guy, received ninety, ninety, and 120 acres respectively. Lincoln represented Martin.
