Collector's notes: This hymn is primarily an exhortation to the sinner to pay homage to Our Lord and to abide by His law, especially in view of the great suffering He endured for man during the Passion. This transcription is of a variant from Manassa, Colorado which is exactly the same as one from Cerritos, Colorado. It may differ slightly from the Arroyo Hondo, New Mexico recording.
