President Roosevelt met with his Relief and Congressional Aides today to the personal command of a new administration fight to check business recession with a $4,000,000,000 pump priming campaign. Douglas, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, leaving the White House today after reporting to President Roosevelt that the commission was ready to proceed with its investigation of insurance companies in connection with the present monopoly inquiry.
