Legislation for sugar industry to be put up to President Roosevelt. Washington D.C., July 28. At a meeting today of 23 senators who are united in a drive to enact legislation for the sugar industry at this session of Congress, it was decided to send a committee to the White House to put the question up to President Roosevelt and determine the administration views.
