Mrs. Emma Guffey Miller, Democratic National Committeewoman from Pennsylvania and a sister of Senator Joseph Guffey, urged approval of the Burke Constitutional Amendment for Equal Rights for Women as she testified before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee today. Mrs.. Miller, shown with Senator Burke, author of the Amendment, told the committee that business women have "felt the ruinious effects of discriminatory and so-called protective legislation," 2/9/38
