U.S. Naval Base, Pearl Harbor, Dry Dock No. 2, On northern shoreline of Shipyard, between Dry Dock Nos. 1 & 3, Pearl City, Honolulu County, HI

Significance: This dry dock is associated with the expansion of waterfront facilities at Pearl Harbor in the 1940s, and played an important role in salvage operations after the December 7, 1941 attack. The dock used a distinctive method of construction, and untried tremie concrete floor construction method. It is the only one of four dry docks at Pearl Harbor that has an intermediate caisson.
