Summary
Anu Prestonia is from Norfolk Virginia, but she moved to New York at age 10. She is the owner of Khamit Kinks, a Brooklyn based salon. After doing hair for 20 years, Anu decided to focus on the administrative aspects of her business. Anu talks about the trend of natural hair and the process of going natural. She also talks about the Sisterlocks technique. In addition, she discusses several pop culture hair controversies, including Gabby Douglas, and the movies "Ten" and "Good Hair".
