Summary
In 2010, the Port of Kennewick added the lighthouse, whose tower houses a beacon that flashes a small white light every four seconds, to a new strolling and biking plaza in a distressed Columbia River-front neighborhood, turning it into a recreational and wildlife-viewing destination.
