Dayueshanren ji : shi er juan - Chinese rare book collection, LOC

The first piece in the first chapter has the title "Author's preface to Hun shi gao"; compiled and printed by Luo Jirui after his father's death; he hoped to study at "Da yue feng tou" of Lushan, and use as his pen name "Dayueshanren" for this collection, "Dayueshanren ji".

八行十七字 (卷一葉一、二, 餘九行十八字). Eight lines, with seventeen characters per line; on page one in chapter one, an additional nine lines with eighteen characters per line.
補：書名葉左右題"新刻大月山人集"，中鐫"菜花軒藏板".
原題：「豫章羅治敬叔父著」。按道光南昌縣志：「治字敬叔，布衣。家貧賣文為活，不習制藝。浪遊江湖，所至不謁權貴，以詩酒自豪著大月山人集十二卷」。卷一第一篇為混世稿自序，蓋其初自命集名如此。此本為治卒後其子季瑞所編刻，集中有寄諸友書云：「往遊金陵，諸相知字余羅痴比遊楚地，人復目為羅狂，一痴一狂，皆生所不敢當也。近欲讀書廬山大月峯頭，號大月山人，冀有此名終身耳。故季瑞用以名集。笪繼良(序)天啟二年(1622).
