Dr. Caroline E. Spencer, of Colorado Springs, Col., formerly of Philadelphia, was secretary of the Colorado branch of the NWP. She was a graduate of the Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania. She was arrested Oct. 20, 1917, while picketing the White House for suffrage and sentenced to 7 months imprisonment. She was arrested for participating in watchfire demonstration Jan. 13, 1919, and sentenced to 5 days in District Jail.
