Summary
Significance: Glatfelter Hall was, and continues to be, the facility which is at the heart of the academic program of Gettysburg College. Up until the building boom of the 1950s and 60s, within the walls of this building over 90% of the teaching and learning at Gettysburg occurred. Glatfelter Hall still contains over 30% of all the classroom space and over 40% of the academic office space on campus.
