Significance: One of the oldest houses in Clinchport, Virginia is the Kathleen S. Flanary House. Occupied by her father, E.T. Sproles, in 1907, the Flanary House is located in the flood plain of the Clinch River. The Flanary House is a wood frame structure with a central hall plan.
