Summary
Significance: This is a typical "shotgun" house, having three rooms back-to-back perpendicular to the street, with a fourth over the rear third room, forming a "camelback" configuration. According to legend, it is called a "shotgun" house because when all doors on the first floor are open one can shoot a bullet through the house without striking anything.
