Moses Shoemaker Farm, Old Mine Road, Millbrook, Warren County, NJ
Summary
Significance: The structure of the Moses Shoemaker Farm served as one of two major hotels for raftsmen at "Shoemakers Eddy" during the 19th century. At this site, the proprietor operated a ferry, from the establishment of this complex until 1938.
Now on the farm is the main house, the original portion of which may date from 1815, a small house, and a ca. 1830 frame bank barn.
