Nassawango Iron Furnace, Furnace Road, 1.2 miles west of Maryland Route 12, Snow Hill, Worcester County, MD
Summary
Significance: The Nassawango Iron Furnace is a significant industrial landmark because it survives as a rare representative of the transition from cold to hot blast in American ironmaking.
