Summary
Significance: Good example of an affluent 1850s townhouse in the fashionable Rittenhouse Square. It served as the home of Alexander J. Cassatt, brother of painter Mary Cassatt, and of Fairman Rogers, a prominent scientist and civil engineering professor. The house was demolished in 1972.
