Summary
Significance: Excellent example of expanded colonial house. // c. 1680. Colonial. Frame, clapboarding. One-and-one-half stories; rectangular plan; gabled roof with rear shed extension; side porch. Ground floor, east room has lovely mantelpiece of fluted Doric pilasters upholding an architrave with incised swags and plain frieze with an incised fluted and swagged decorative detail. c. 1700 original building expanded on south facade. c. 1730 expanded on the east and west and front facade remodeled. Numerous 18th and 19th century alterations. Privately owned.
