Simple thoughts on the Sabbath day ; and, Proper division of God's laws to man
Summary
Womack at this time was minister of the Constitution Street Church of Christ in Lexington, Kentucky. This essay contains a poem entitled "God Made The Negro" but is otherwise a purely religious discussion. American Memory Project research disclosed no biographical information about this writer. Internal evidence, however, indicates that Womack probably was African American.
