Significance: The date of erection of this ice house is not known, but it is probably approximately contemporary with the main house which was built in sections between about 1759 and about 1800. It is a circular, brick structure, about 21' diameter, sunk into the ground 12'-6", with a conical roof with wood shingles and a finial.
