Summary
This report details the effort to establish a colony of freed slaves in Africa and the difficulties encountered therewith. Extracts from letters of Rev. Daniel Coker, agent of the Society in Liberia, give a first-hand account of the experience. Also given here is a declaration of the Society's intentions sent to Congress, an account of legal proceedings against a Cuban slave ship, and a treasurer's report on donations and subscriptions to the Society.
