Summary
Drawing shows a full-length profile silhouette of a woman in a riding habit standing on a low platform with riding crop in hand. She watches as a man, to the right, pulls on the reins of an unruly horse.
Hand-cut silhouette by Augustin Edouart. Drawing is attributed to Charles Fenderich.
Silhouette profile is cut from black paper and mounted on an ink wash drawing of an exterior scene, which serves as the background.
