Duffield, right, was sworn in as a special assistant to the Secretary. Secretary of Treasury Morgenthau seems happy over the selection of his new assistants. Hanes succeeds Roswell Magill and Duffield takes over the job made vacant by the promotion Cyril B. Upham to be Comptroller of the currency, 10/31/38
