Unitarian-Universalist Church, 3 Church Street, Cortland, Cortland County, NY
Summary
Significance: The use of cobblestone construction in this church is unusual because it is father south than most cobblestone buildings, shows an early effort to lay up the stones in a pattern, (rather than a random arrangement), and cobblestones were used for a church. The building is also one of the earliest Universalist churches in the Southern Tier of New York State.
