Washington, D.C., May 9. Somewhat handicapped by the broken toe which has kept him on crutches for the past week, Speaker William Bankhead of the House today visited the White House to talk over legislation with President Roosevelt. After his conference with the President the Speaker stated that adjournment plans hinge on what happens to the Wages and Hours Bill when it reaches the Senate. Bankhead also stated that plans for bank holding compnay legislation, monopoly measures or legislation on tax exempt securities would not be encated this session, 5/9/38
